Sound Worship was Sound!

November 2, 2011

It was Leonard Bernstein who said, “To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time.”  We would add one important element to Mr. Bernstein’s “things needed” list:  “Faith in God to accomplish his will.”

With a plan, not quite enough time, and faith in God the Sound Worship Conference came and blessed us all.  Here are a few memories from this past weekend:

A wonderful evening, full of…

 …faithful registration volunteers

…great registration goodies

…resourceful workers and resources

…prayerful readings of God’s Word

…songs of praise of our Holy God

…worshipful workshops

…delightful deserts

…a savvy security team

…and a lifetime of learning.

Can’t wait ’til February for Sound Worship II!  Hope to see you there!

    Hey Tony, what’s good?!

I didn’t think to look you up via blog until a recent convo on Skype with a brother in Louisiana, your name was mentioned (I won’t tell what we were talking about though:-)) and I was like, ”I gotta check that out.” It’s been a minute but it’s evident that the Lord’s been gracious. I appreciate the blog brother; it seems you guys had a good time in the Lord!

I actually left a comment on your blog ‘Non Nobis Domine’ not realizing the last post was in 2008. 🙂

I look forward to seeing you at T4G2012, should be fun to catch up with you guys again. I’ll be popping by the blog on a regular.

My love to the wife and kids!
